My life has been very alternately shit and not-shit lately, for fairly mundane reasons, and it's limited my drive to get anything creative done. We've all heard that one, I know. Baaawwwww etc. But for whatever reason, I haven't got as much done as I'd hoped.

_{I wrote this one after an epiphany where I looked at my stomach and really fully realised that I have internal organs in there, just like all the diagrams I looked at as a child, only meaty and 3D. I know it doesn't sound it, but it was mindblowing. Sorry for the pop-ish production values on this song. It's thematically intentional. Next song will be nice and lo-fi.}

I have a mandolin that neither of us can really play and he was jamming with it and I started yelling stuff over the top and it was funny, then he got in on it too and yelled something else which was funnier, then we decided to record it and it got progressively sillier. We're thinking of doing a whole album of this kind of rubbish.}

I've always loved the folk song and its circular lyrics, so, although mine aren't quite up to scratch in that regard, I've attempted to 4chan it up a bit. (I'd like to credit the guy more thoroughly, but I can't find the journal.) Muffled production sound also intentional.}

I've also been doing `MurkHellsing's do-lots-of-comics-quickly challenge, and although I didn't make the deadline, I'm pretty chuffed with the way it's coming along. Go have a look if you like quick comics.

Which reminds me, I've still got some old rapid-fire comics I forgot to scan. Maybe in a month or two, when I've settled in up in Auckland, with or at least near my beloved Tamsyn, I can start blasting out more of those and make a site for them.
